A study examining the relationship between ANGPTL3 loss-of-function variants and coronary artery disease in 58,355 adults reported that the presence of an ANGPTL3 loss-of-function variant was associated with a 41% lower odds of CAD (OR 0.59; 95% CI 0.41–0.85) (Dewey et al., 2016). Here, ANGPTL3 is linked to coronary artery disorder.
