More importantly, we found that p-ANXA2 (Tyr23) and MYC were concurrently overexpressed in 70% (7/10) of nucleoproteins extracts of ESCC specimens, and neither was upregulated in 30% (3/10) of the specimens (Fig. 5c), supporting the regulatory relationship between p-ANXA2 (Tyr23) and MYC in ESCC tissues. This evidence concerns the gene ANXA2 and esophageal squamous cell carcinoma.
