It has been demonstrated that TPX2 is overexpressed in multiple malignancies including GC, and high TPX2 expression is reported to be relevant to GC progression and might act as a potential indicator for a poor prognosis in GC patients (Liang et al., 2016; Shao et al., 2016; Tomii et al., 2017). This evidence concerns the gene TPX2 and gastric cancer.
