In ovarian carcinoma, homozygous deletion of CDKN2A has been detected in only 3% of high‐grade serous carcinomas (HGSC) 6, 15% of low‐grade serous carcinomas (LGSC) 7, and in 30% of mucinous carcinomas (MC) 8. The gene discussed is CDKN2A; the disease is serous adenocarcinoma.
