Furthermore, both α‐SMA‐positive CAFs and presence of lymph node metastasis were shown to be statistically significant independent predictors for poor overall (P < 0.001 and P = 0.001, respectively) and recurrence‐free survival (P < 0.001 and P = 0.048, respectively) in multivariate analysis, whereas HBV infection was identified as an independent favorable factor for tumor recurrence (P = 0.001).
