Our findings demonstrate a trend towards an increase in phosphorylated MST1/2 (pMST1/2), the activated kinase, in the cortex of HD patients (Fig. 3a,b) as well as a significant increase in the cortex, but not in the striatum, of the homozygous HdhQ111/Q111 knock-in mouse (Fig. 3g–j). Here, MST1 is linked to Huntington disease.
