As shown in Fig 7A, B95.8 virus containing the mutated Zp -141 nucleotide (Zp-V3 form) expressed much more Z protein than the WT virus following infection of two different EBV-negative Burkitt lines, BJAB and Akata, although similar levels of the latent EBV protein, EBNA2, were expressed in each cell type.
