As demonstrated by univariable and multivariable logistic regression analyses, the association remained significant when unadjusted (OR: 1.549, 95% CI: 1.335–1.798, P < 0.001), adjusted for age, sex, as well as BMI (OR: 1.551, 95% CI: 1.327–1.814, P < 0.001), and further for the full model (OR: 1.501, 95% CI: 1.249–1.803, P < 0.001) including for age, sex, BMI, current smoking, history of hypertension, history of DM, history of dyslipidemia, anti-hypertension medication, anti-DM medication, aspirin and statin use, WBC, and levels of hsCRP, HbA1c, hemoglobin, albumin, LDL-C, eGFR (Table 3).
