The transcriptional regulation of c-MYC and CCND1, as well as other cellular genes known to be upregulated upon activation of the Wnt/β-catenin pathway and to be associated with chronic HCV disease manifestations [T-box 3 (TBX3), axin 2/conductin (AXIN2), fibronectin type III domain containing 3B (FNDC3B), fatty acid synthase (FASN)] was monitored in infected cells at 5 days post-infection. This evidence concerns the gene CCND1 and infection.
