The specificities of the primers were identified in our previous study.27 We found that the OTUB1‐isoform2 mRNA level was significantly higher in the 114 malignant lesions than in the paired paratumorous areas (P < .001, Figure 1B), suggesting that OTUB1‐isoform2 could be detected in ovarian cancer and that its mRNA level is abnormally increased. This evidence concerns the gene OTUB1 and ovarian carcinoma.
