First, methyl thiazolyltetrazolium (MTT) assay (Fig. 3c) and clonogenic assay (Fig. 3d) showed DIRAS3 overexpression led to reduced proliferation rates and colony formation rate in BGC-823 cells, suggesting that DIRAS3 suppressed clonogenicity of gastric cancer cells and thus inhibited proliferation. Here, DIRAS3 is linked to gastric cancer.
