The percentage of cells positive for DIRAS3 and LC3B-II were significantly lower in gastric cancer than in adjacent mucosa (DIRAS3, 24 vs. 74%, LC3B-II 31 vs. 87%, both P < 0.05), whereas the percentage of cells positive for p62 was significantly higher in gastric cancer than in adjacent mucosa (79 vs. 57%, P < 0.05) (Table 1). Here, DIRAS3 is linked to gastric cancer.
