FSHB and neoplasm: Interestingly, the maximum tumor retention amount of two-staged injection of complementary NIR-II nanoprobes (~17.5% ID g−1) were two-fold higher than single injection of DCNPs-L1-FSHβ (~8.1% ID g−1) (Fig. 3b) with same amount, clearly demonstrating the advantage of this novel strategy with improved tumor retention.
