INS and coronary artery disorder: The use of statins (OR = 1.66; 95% CI, 1.36–2.03), treatment of DM with OAD (OR = 1.71; 95% CI, 1.38–2.13), treatment of DM with insulin combined with OAD (OR = 1.91; 95% CI, 1.38–2.64), male sex (OR = 1.49; 95% CI, 1.24–1.78) and having a history of CAD (OR = 1.47; 95% CI, 1.06–2.02) were directly and significantly associated with good control of LDL-C.
