Several types of sarcomas are driven by the presence of specific fusion mutations, such as SYT-SSX in synovial sarcoma, EWS-FLI1 in Ewing’s sarcoma, FUS-DDIT3 in myxoid liposarcoma [3], and EWS-WT1 in Desmoplastic Small Round Cell Tumor (DSRCT) [52].
