BRAF V600E mutation was a classic mutation harbored in thyroid cancers.[32] Many articles have reported its significance in diagnosis and prognosis of TC.[33–36] In our review of recent studies, several of them analyzed the relationship of it and TERT promoter mutations directly,[10,11,17,21,24] and several analyzed the combined positive rate of it and TERT promoter mutations.[10,11,16,20,22,24] In some respective studies,[10,11,17,24]BRAF mutation was found not relevant to TERT promoter mutations, however, in the meta-analysis, we got a different finding. The gene discussed is BRAF; the disease is thyroid gland carcinoma.
