Given that BAP31 upregulation was associated with advanced stages and worse clinical outcome of cervical cancer patients, we generated stable BAP31-depleted HeLa cells with shRNA vectors and injected them subcutaneously into the flanks of nude mice to construct a xenograft mouse model (HeLa cells transfected with scramble shRNA were used as a control). The gene discussed is BCAP31; the disease is cervical cancer.
