A phase I study of crizotinib in 50 patients with ROS-1 rearranged NSCLC demonstrated objective response rates (ORR) of 72% (95% CI 58–84), with a median PFS of 19.2 months (95% CI 14.4- not reached), and comparable tolerability to that reported in ALK-positive tumours [40]. The gene discussed is ALK; the disease is non-small cell lung carcinoma.
