To go further in lamins A and C expression in lung adenocarcinoma, Machiels et al. [49] have studied their expression in three lung adenocarcinoma cell lines, using a monoclonal antibody directed against both lamins A and C, and one antibody which specifically recognized lamin A but not lamin C in immunofluorescence and immunoblotting experiments. This evidence concerns the gene LMNA and lung adenocarcinoma.
