IL10 and melanoma: Most interestingly, Gaziel-Sovran et al. further found that miR-30 family members (including miR-30b and miR-30d) promoted the metastatic behavior of melanoma cells by directly targeting the N-acetyl galactose (GalNAc) transferase GALNT7, resulting in increased synthesis of the immunosuppressive cytokine interleukin-10 (IL-10) and decreased immune cells activation and recruitment [17].
