KEGG pathway analysis showed that hypermethylated genes were implicated in the following pathways: (1) focal adhesion, (2) arrhythmogenic right ventricular cardiomyopathy (ARVC), (3) pathways in cancer, (4) oxytocin signaling pathway, (5) glutamatergic synapse, (6) adherens junction, (7) Rap1 signaling pathway, (8) tight junction, (9) circadian entrainment, and (10) PI3K-Akt signaling pathway (Figure 3(c)). The gene discussed is OXT; the disease is Right ventricular cardiomyopathy.
