To further determine whether LMP1 influenced the protein stability of RIG-I, we transfected LMP1 in CNE2, then infected CNE2 with SeV to induce RIG-I expression, 4 h after SeV infection, added CHX to inhibit new protein synthesis, and we found that LMP1 could promote degradation of endogenous expressed RIG-I (Figure 2A).
