CD4 and tuberculosis: HIV cases whose CD4 count less than 200 were more than nine times likely to develop tuberculosis compared to those whose CD4 count greater than 500 (AOR= 9.04[4.23- 79.11]), besides, a significant statistical relationship was found between smokers and nonsmokers (AOR=4.019[0.01-0.16]) (Tables 2 and Table 3).
