Results show that high expression level of HMGA2 was associated with poor OS in gastric cancer (HR = 1.94, 95% CI = 1.42-2.65, P < 0.001), head and neck cancer (HR = 1.77, 95% CI = 1.37-2.29, P < 0.001), colorectal cancer (HR = 2.13, 95% CI = 1.48-3.05, P < 0.001) and other cancers (HR = 2, 95% CI = 1.68-2.40, P < 0.001), but not esophageal cancer (HR = 1.15, 95% CI = 0.55-2.37, P = 0.712) and ovarian cancer (HR = 1.07, 95% CI = 0.55-2.37, P = 0.712). This evidence concerns the gene HMGA2 and esophageal cancer.
