HMGA2 overexpression has been reported to be associated with tumorigenesis and progression in many human cancers such as esophageal squamous cell cancer (Zhang et al., 2016), lung cancer (Kumar et al., 2014), pancreatic cancer (Piscuoglio et al., 2012), breast cancer (Wu J. et al., 2016) and colorectal cancer (Wang et al., 2011). Here, HMGA2 is linked to breast carcinoma.
