We found that the expression of CCL5 and S100a9 were significantly high in CRC patients who has low number of CD8+ T cells infiltrating into tumor tissue (Fig. 6a), and the correlation analysis revealed that the expression level of CCL5 was negatively correlated with the number of intratumoral CD8+ T cells (Fig. 6b), but was positively correlated with S100a9 expression (Fig. 6c). Here, CCL5 is linked to neoplasm.
