The SWI/SNF complex has been implicated in malignant rhabdoid tumors (76), and specific subunits of this complex (SNF5/SMARCB1, SMARCE1, BRG1, PBRM1/BAF180) have been identified in approximately 20% of human cancers including renal carcinoma (77), and NSCLC (78). This evidence concerns the gene PBRM1 and non-small cell lung carcinoma.
