Consistent with these results, we found that CTTN siRNA transfected cells showed a significant decrease in the number of migrated and invaded cells in A549 and H1299 cells compared with the scrambled control transfection (39.2 versus 2.4, P = 0.008 and 22.4 versus 6.8, P = 0.021 for migration, respectively; 9.8 versus 5.8, P = 0.024 and 6.0 versus 2.2, P = 0.034 for invasion, respectively, Fig. 2d).These results proved that cortactin promotes migration and invasion in NSCLC. Here, CTTN is linked to non-small cell lung carcinoma.
