Approximately 30% of these lncRNAs demonstrated a sizeable positive or negative co-expression pattern, across 191 samples, with their cis protein coding partner; these included LINC-PINT, HOXB-AS3, TMEM191A and PRKCQ-AS1 (Figure 2C), a natural antisense for the diabetes drug-target PRKCQ (codes for PKC-θ) (82–85).
