In the Pound Mouse model of prediabetes, the observed deficits in contraction‐evoked arteriolar dilation in skeletal muscle appears to be mediated by modest activation of Y1R and α1R, as sympathetic receptor blockade (with topical application of BIBP3226 and prazosin) in PD recovered contraction‐evoked vasodilator responses to CTRL levels. Here, CTRL is linked to prediabetes syndrome.
