For proteins that appeared to affect global SUMOylation in 293T and HeLa cells, assays with transient expression of His6-SUMO1 or His6-SUMO2 were repeated in a nasopharyngeal carcinoma cell line (CNE2Z) relevant for EBV infection (Fig 1C and Table 1).
