TFF3 and gastric cancer: In a Japanese study conducted on 183 patients with gastric cancer and 280 healthy individuals, using a cutoff of 3.6 ng/mL for TFF3, the odds ratio for gastric cancer significantly increased (odds ratio 18.1; 95% confidence interval 11.2–29.2) and the sensitivity and specificity for predicting gastric cancer were 80.9 and 81.0%, respectively [11].
