The investigation of the seven triple negative subtypes, as described in Lehmann study (basal-like 1 (BL1), basal-like 2 (BL2), immunomodulatory (IM), mesenchymal (M), mesenchymal stem-like (MSL), luminal androgen receptor (LAR), and unstable (UNS)), could contribute to resolving the differing clinical behavior when IBC and TNBC coexist [30, 31].
