Patients with OCT4high/LEF1high tumors had a poorer prognosis and more aberrant clinicopathological features than the high/low and low/low expression groups, and Spearman's rank correlation results showed that the aberrant expression of LEF1 was positively associated with the overexpression of OCT4 in ESCC. This evidence concerns the gene LEF1 and esophageal squamous cell carcinoma.
