SERPINE1 and anterolateral myocardial infarction: Variables related to PAI-1 activity rise higher than 3.7 U/mL were heart failure, anterior wall myocardial infarction, left anterior descending artery as an infarction-related artery, use of thrombus aspiration, no-reflow phenomenon, worse final TIMI flow, and female sex among categorical variables (Table 1), and higher levels of peak CK, high-density lipoprotein, and lower body weight among continuous variables.
