As expected, the gene sets enriched in CMS2 adenomas were involved in cell cycle and proliferation, including genes that are targets of E2F transcription factors, genes involved in G2/M checkpoint, mitotic spindle assembly, the phosphoinositide 3‐kinase (PI3K)–AKT–mammalian target of rapamycin (mTOR) pathway, and the Wnt–β‐catenin signalling pathway, or genes regulated by MYC. Here, MTOR is linked to adenoma.
