The subcellular localization of GSK3α/β in permanent HNSCC cell lines illustrated a homogeneous cytoplasmic localization of the active form in all analyzed samples, whereas inactive GSK3α/β was predominantly located in vesicle-like structures within the cellular lumen in addition to a cytoplasmic localization (Figure 3). The gene discussed is GSK3A; the disease is head and neck squamous cell carcinoma.
