Our findings also showed that the overexpression of vimentin was associated with lymph node metastasis, advanced TNM stages, and N stage, whereas no significant relation was observed between upregulated vimentin and age, tumor size, gender, tumor site, serum CEA level, differentiation, distant metastasis, recurrence metastasis, lymphovascular invasion, venous invasion, and T stage. Here, CEACAM5 is linked to metastatic malignant neoplasm in the lymph nodes.
