Table 2 shows that quite all CVD risk factors such as classic modifiable risk factors (SBP and DBP), heart rate, lipid profile (Total-C, HDL-C, and triglyceride), glucose homeostasis (insulin resistance and glycated hemoglobin), and novel risk factors such as inflammation markers (leukocytes, CRP, MCP-1, and IL10), coagulation markers (fibrinogen), and biological aging indicator (LTL) were significantly (p < 0.001) different between overweight and severe-obese individuals. Here, IL10 is linked to Insulin resistance.
