Starting from our panel of six AML-associated antigens and all possible dual antigen combinations thereof (n = 15), our analysis revealed that CD33/TIM3 and CLL1/TIM3 were coexpressed in most AML samples, but largely spared in normal hematopoiesis and non-hematopoietic tissues, thus meeting our criteria of suitable target antigen combinations. This evidence concerns the gene CD33 and acute myeloid leukemia.
