Since in our SDMA target identification studies the majority of symmetrically methylated arginines were detected on proteins that regulate RNA splicing, we next sought out to explore the effect of PRMT5 inhibition on cellular splicing by RNA-sequencing (RNA-seq) analysis in a panel of lymphoma cell lines with a range of sensitivities to PRMT5 inhibition. The gene discussed is PRMT5; the disease is lymphoma.
