Similar to KS results, in case of PROX1 and MMP14 co-expression in the same tissue section, nuclear PROX1 and cytoplasmic/membrane-associated MMP14 were not found in the same cells, but interestingly, in some specimens cytoplasmic PROX1 and MMP14 were co-localized (Fig. 1c, white arrows). Here, MMP14 is linked to Kaposi's sarcoma.
