Interestingly, in HPV(+) HNSCC, aberrations of the PI3K pathway (52.8% cases; previously published) was seconded by aberrations of the NF-κB pathway genes (38.9% cases) [50] (Figure 1), followed by aberrations of the NOTCH (27.8% cases), JAK/STAT (19.4% cases), WNT (19.4% cases), and the MAPK (13.9% cases) pathways. This evidence concerns the gene PIK3CB and head and neck squamous cell carcinoma.
