FMNL2 has previously been shown to accumulate at the edge of lamellipodia and at the tips of filopodia in migrating B16-melanoma cells (Block et al., 2012; Kage et al., 2017), where in conjunction with FMNL3, it regulates actin filament formation throughout the protruding lamellipodia (Block et al., 2012; Kage et al., 2017).
