The IFN-inducible signature, however, is now distributed across the three different modules; two overabundant modules; the yellow module that includes BATF2, AIM2, FCGR1A and B, and a number of GBPs; the light green module, which we show is also strongly overabundant in influenza infection, includes many IFITs, ISGs and OASs, and very reminiscent of type-I IFN-inducible genes induced during viral infections. The gene discussed is BATF2; the disease is viral infectious disease.
