Univariate logistic regression analysis yielded ten univariate mortality predictors, each with a significance of p < 0.1: tachypnea, severe coma, hypertension, coronary artery disease, cancer, bedridden, leukocytosis, bandemia, anemia, and elevated C-reactive protein levels (CRP) (Table 2).
