Our mutation analysis revealed that TP53 was mutated in 43/47 (80.9%) of patients, and mutations were also frequently detected in EGFR, APC, PIK3CA, and KRAS. One potential advantage of the present study over others is that compared with PCR-based assays to analyze one or two genes, the SV-CA50-ctDNA panel contain the important mutations about CRC treatment sensitively; hence removing the bias present in PCR-based analyses of a few genes. Here, KRAS is linked to colorectal carcinoma.
