The most important driver mutations found in NSCLC are epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR), kirsten rat sarcoma virus (KRAS), B-Raf proto-oncogene (BRAF) and ERBB2 (HER2) mutations, rearrangements in the anaplastic lymphoma kinase (ALK), c-ros oncogene 1 (ROS1), and RET genes, and MET amplifications [17,18]. This evidence concerns the gene EGFR and non-small cell lung carcinoma.
