CSF3 and fusariosis: A recent literature review of invasive Fusarium infections in immunocompromised children (including five new cases, summarizing 33 cases in total) showed considerable variation in the treatment regimens used: Amphotericin B was used in most cases (76%); combination treatment with (amphotericin B and voriconazole; amphotericin B and caspofungin; amphotericin B, fluconazole, and rifampin; amphotericin B and ketoconazole; amphotericin B, 5-FC, and rifampin) was used in 33%; G-CSF was used in 18%; granulocyte transfusion in 12%; and surgery was performed in 12% of the cases [108].
