GLP1R and pancreatic neoplasm: In three large-scale, multicentre, randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled cardiovascular outcome trials, patients who received GLP-1 receptor agonist (lixisenatide [29], liraglutide [10] or semaglutide [11]) treatment showed no significant increase in the incidence of either pancreatitis or pancreatic cancer compared with the well-matched control group, although serum levels of lipase and amylase were modestly elevated in the GLP-1 receptor agonist group.
