By performing RNA-seq of the airway samples from the lung SCC mouse model that were induced by the carcinogen - NTCU, we demonstrated that the PI3K/AKT/NFƙB pathways were activated in the normal appearing bronchial airway epithelial cells of NTCU mice, which can be reversed by treatment with XL-147 (a PI3K Inhibitor). This evidence concerns the gene AKT1 and medical procedure.
