Tumor sections from hyperacetylated RAGEOV xenografts showed numerous fluorescent interaction signals, whereas hyperacetylated tumors from RAGEKD xenografts showed weak signals, with signals from RAGEOV xenografts that were 5.5-fold stronger than those from RAGEKD xenografts, confirming Ac-APE1/Ref-1–RAGE binding (Fig. 4B).
